Thank you for your interest in our 19th year of the Fear the Bird Tournament. We had a very successful 2023 tournament, thanks to your continued support. Or maybe your 1st time. We won’t know the exact date until the school district approves our requests in the fall of 2023. Please return to this page on November 1st.
We invite your youth wrestler(s) to participate in our 19th Annual Fear the Bird™ Youth Wrestling Tournament once more information is made known in November.
Be prepared for the weather and use your own judgment to ensure you arrive on time. We do not give refunds. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
We offer a “no-tears” portion for wrestlers in PreK & Kindergarten. This means all competitors receive a gold medal and the ref will raise both competitors’ arms to declare the winner. This is our way to introduce the wrestler and his/her family to the tournament series.
Our concession stand will offer warm breakfast items and a robust warm lunch as well as other common concession items. We will once again conduct an all-cash raffle. Proceeds support functions of the Marshall Wrestling Club including a senior scholarship program. We thank you and your family for supporting wrestling.
We respect your time and run a smooth tournament. Marshall High School wrestlers serve as our referees that are under the watch of a head official with WIAA officiating credentials.
