Wrestling is a unique sport in that it provides both physical and mental development. We are a club and non-profit organization that provides wrestling instruction for youths (girls and boys) ages 4 - 18. Our purpose is to support wrestling at all levels, promote the sport to the public and develop amateur athletes for wrestling competition in the local area.

Our emphasis involves the fundamentals that will help each wrestler with physical and mental growth. Our club promotes a safe, positive and friendly atmosphere where those interested in wrestling can learn about the sport. We focus on good sportsmanship, respect for authority and skills needed to achieve success both on and off the mat.

Our club has exhibitions prior to High School meets both home and away. These exhibitions are often with other area clubs; providing an excellent opportunity for the youth to put the skills learned at practice into action on the mat.  Exhibitions provide newer wrestlers a taste of the tournament setting along with opportunities to meet other new wrestlers. Young wrestlers are encouraged to stay and watch the high school meets. Viewing the sport at this higher level is an excellent learning tool and provides valuable support for our high school athletes. Public support of Marshall Wrestling helps us bring opportunities to the youth.
